This is a new piece I've been working on.
It is an image I created for the business slogan, "Staying the course." I thought that I would show a little bit of the process I go through while I work on a project. I usually start with a rough sketch like this one then I refine it with many tracing-paper revisions before I settle on the composition I like the best. Once that is finished I then produce the piece using traditional media, usually pastel and charcoal. When I've reached a point I feel comfortable with, I then upload it into Photoshop and work on the final revisions.
