Making Progress

This is a piece I'm currently working on. Its about 3/4s of the way completed. After formulating an idea, I usually begin my process with some quick sketches. I then collect reference material and complete a rendered drawing. Once the drawing is completed I will use water color, gouache and photoshop to color the image. The completed version of this piece is soon to follow.

Ana's All Natural Pies

This is a piece I recently completed for a client. He and his wife are building a small family business making delicious pies with all natural ingredients. The project was a lot of fun to work on and I wish them much success in their venture.

Washington DC

This is a project I recently completed. I was commissioned to create illustrations  for an ipad app about the Presidents of the United States. The images are going to be different spaces on a game board. Each picture represents various locations and monuments around the Washington DC area.

This piece is inspired by the "Dresden Files," a series of books written by author Jim Butcher.

This is a personal piece I made for my girlfriend. It's based on a quote from "It's a Wonderful Life."

Envy

This is a promotional piece based on a New York Times article entitled "Envy May Bear Fruit, but It Also Has an Aftertaste," written by John Tierney. The original illustration was completed by Viktor Koen, who was a teacher of mine when I was in Residence at the School of Visual Arts.
